  • Affiliated with Mount Sinai Hospital/ Hospitalists but uses ALL NYC hospitals/ MDs.
  • BA in Psychology from Columbia 1995, thought I wanted to be a teacher, but did an internship and realized that kids are hard!
  • Postbac (premed classes) from Columbia 1995-1997
  • MD, Mt Sinai 1997-2001. I really wanted to do Family Medicine. I thought it would be amazing to deliver babies, see kids, parents, and grandparents, but was told it was impossible to practice Family Medicine and live in a big city, so opted to do Internal Medicine. I now see the kids of Moms and Dads, though older, and the grandparents, so it has all worked out!
  • Internal Medicine Residency, Georgetown University Hospital 2001-2004
  • Worked at Westmed Medical Group in Rye, NY 2004-2010.
  • Board certified. Passed the boards in 2004 (Yea!) Passed the recertification in 2014 (Phew!) Next recertification 2024, but I opted to do the Longitudinal Knowledge Assessment, basically doing questions every 3 months for the rest of my working life!
  • Since 2010 has been on the Upper East Side seeing patients on an outpatient basis.
  • Takes no pharmaceutical or device money, including dinners
  • Offers established patients an appointment within 1 business day
  • Tries to be respectful of your time– knows that everyone is very busy in NYC
  • Enjoys primary care, so no special niche and no intereste in cosmetic medicine.  Enjoys working with patients for their basic medical needs:  high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, anxiety, depression, ADD, chest pressure, palpitations, allergies, asthma, COPD, acne, gastritis, GERD, thyroid diseases, weight loss, STDs, pap smears, headaches, and prevention of diseases.
  • Loves all of her wonderfully diverse patients, in different occupations, from different countries, with different religions and outlooks on life, all genders and preferences, all of whom work hard to make it in New York City.
  • Lives in NYC with her husband, 2 teenage kids and Luna, our very affectionate, but yappy, alpha yorkshire terrier! She thinks she owns us all.  Is hoping to add a little kitten to the mix.
  • Isn’t she adorable?
